Our School Day

Nursery

15 hour placements:
Pupils will attend Nursery either for the morning session: 8.30am - 11.30am or for the afternoon session 12.30pm – 3.30pm

30 hour placements:
Pupils will attend for both the morning and afternoon session. For children to stay at the school during the lunchtime hour, there is a cost. For more information, contact the school. 

Lunchtimes: 11.30am -12.30pm

Children will eat their lunch in the main hall under the supervision of the nursery staff and our lunchtime controllers.

 

Reception to Year 6

The school day starts at 8.45 am and finishes at 3.15pm.  A rolling start will begin at 8.35am each morning.

Break time: 10.30am – 10.45am (Key Stage 2)

Lunchtimes: 12.15pm - 1.15pm - Children who order a hot meal will have their lunch first and then packed lunch children will be called a year group at a time to eat their lunch in the hall. 

The Trust’s catering company will provide a school lunch for all pupils which is funded through the Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) grant. Universal infant free school meals (UIFSM) provides funding for all government funded schools to offer free school meals to pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

 

ASSEMBLIES / COLLECTIVE WORSHIP

These takes place throughout the week as a whole school and within each class. They include times of stories, prayers, songs, hymns, discussions and visitors. On Friday we will hold our weekly Celebration Assembly where we celebrate all of our successes from the week.

 

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROVISION

There is a Breakfast Club (7.45am - 8.45am) and After School Club (3.15pm - 6.00pm) available for St Cecilia's CofE Primary School. This is run by Funtastic Kids. For more information please click here.
